Bombard with Reed, Satinwood by Roosebeck

This Satinwood Bombard is 12.25 inches long, the bell is 3 inches in diameter. Comes with a cane reed.

The bombard is a small, double-reed instrument similar to a soprano shawm in range, but shorter in length. It's in the key of A and is slightly shorter than a soprano recorder in the key of C. Bombards are still used in some Celtic music. They are quite loud, despite their small size. Their tone is high and penetrating.
